Commanders from Moscow are sent to the rebellious units.
The Belarusian military does not want to go to war with Ukraine and officers are leaving the country with their families. To prevent riots in the Belarusian army, it is being filled with commanders from Moscow.
This is what obozrevatel.com has learned from its own sources.
Amid the growing threat of Belarus joining the war with Ukraine on Russia's side, the likelihood of riots among Belarusian servicemen and officers is growing.
"Amid rumors about the possibility of the Belarusian Armed Forces being sent to Ukraine, "conditional riots" are taking place in some units deployed near Brest, in the course of which servicemen and officers express their unwillingness to go to Ukraine. Also, there are more and more cases of officers of the Interior Ministry leaving the country together with their families," says the source familiar with the situation in the Belarusian troops.
Lukashenka plans to keep his own army under control with the help of his "friend" Putin.
"To stabilize the situation in the Belarusian armed forces, commanders and senior officers are being sent from Moscow," says the source.
