British Government Recommends Urgent Termination of Contracts with Companies from Belarus

The decision relates to the aggression against Ukraine.
The British government calls on all public sector organizations to urgently review and preferably terminate contracts with Russian and Belarusian companies. This is referred to the published recommendations of the British government, the Duchy of Lancaster Chancellor Steve Barkley said.
The recommendations specify that state authorities, including government departments and hospitals, should immediately review any contracts with Russian and Belarusian companies and, if possible, change the suppliers and terminate the agreements legally.
The move is linked to Russia's war against Ukraine.
"State money should not finance Putin's war machine. We are asking hospitals, councils and other public sector organisations to urgently reconsider ways in which commercial links with Russia can be limited," said Steve Barkley.
