The targets are residential buildings, schools and hospitals.
The Russian special services are planning a series of terrorist acts involving mines and explosions in Russian settlements in order to stir up anti-Ukrainian hysteria. The head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's intelligence directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, has announced this, the ministry's press service says.
According to him, the Russian special services are planning terrorist attacks on residential buildings, hospitals and schools in Russia, as well as missile and bomb attacks on the city of Belgorod or one of the Crimean cities.
Budanov believes the failure of the mobilisation plan in Russia is forcing the Putin regime to launch dirty scenarios to emotionally stir up Russian society and further consolidate it against the Ukrainians.
"To do that, they plan explosions in Russian residential buildings or rocket attacks to blame the AFU and volunteer battalions in order to create an emotional picture of 'atrocities of Ukrainian nationalists'," the ISU head explained.
It is possible that the terrorist attacks organized by Putin's Russian special services will be served as alleged revenge for Bucha and Kramatorsk, where the occupiers committed atrocities against civilians. Russia may try to justify with terrorist attacks the brutality of its soldiers against Ukrainians.
"In recent days, Russian authorities have been increasingly active in stirring up the flywheel of anti-Ukrainian hysteria. Trenches are being actively dug in the Belgorod and Kursk regions, panic is being stirred up over the alleged offensive of Ukrainian volunteer battalions and subversive groups," Budanov stressed.
He recalled how Putin's reign began with the KGB terrorist attacks on Russian residential buildings, which became the ground for the destruction of Chechnya, so it is symbolic that his reign will end by the same methods.
