And the Belarusian dictator has to tolerate it.
An extremely unpleasant for the ruler of Belarus and amusing for everyone else moment occurred during the press conference of Putin and Lukashenka at the Vostochny launch site on 12 April.
Kommersant reporter Andrei Kolesnikov once again asked the ruler of Belarus a question on the verge of mockery:
- Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has instructed Dmitry Olegovich Rogozin to send a Belarusian cosmonaut into space. Tell me, please, wouldn't you like to try it?
At that moment, Putin could not withhold a smile. And Lukashenka, who usually behaves extremely harshly towards journalists, did not show his anger against the reporter close to Putin and answered the question:
- "I wish I could! I used to think my elder brother could send me there and not bring me back. Now I don't think that way anymore. So I would like to. But I have someone to send, so I will think about it.
Kolesnikov continued the theme in his report:
- It seemed to me that Aliaksandr Lukashenka switched to personalities very easily. That is, I think he meant his son Nikolai. Since he's already said that he "personally has someone to send". Well, not to the front, after all.
Kommersant's reporter wanted it or not, but his open trolling of Lukashenka once again showed the real place of the Belarusian ruler, who has to tolerate any unpleasant moments from the side of the "big brother".
The press service of the Belarusian ruler was silent about this episode during the press conference.
