An appeal to this effect has been filed to the court.
Latvia wants to freeze the accounts of sanatoriums "Belarus" and "Amber Beach," located in Jurmala, owned by the Belarusian and Russian government agencies. An appeal to that effect has been sent to the court to consider the issue, Delfi wrote.
The judicial administration has asked the court to assess the possibility of freezing the property. According to the newspaper, the sanatorium "Belarus" is owned by the administration of Lukashenka, against whom personal sanctions are imposed.
In turn, the Amber Beach sanatorium is a branch of the Bor recreational centre of the Russian presidential administration.
Both sanatoriums are on the list of legal entities associated with the sanctions.
Earlier, the accounts of another Belarusian health resort - sanatorium Belarus in Lithuania's Druskininkai - were blocked because of the sanctions. Its work was restricted for more than six months.
