The occupiers suffered huge losses.
One of the Russian Marine units that was originally in Kyiv region has been overstaffed and thrown back into Ukraine. But the occupants were unlucky again - they again "got some stick" from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but this time in Zaporizhzhia region.
Maksim Zhorin, former commander of the Mariupol Defenders Regiment, spoke about this in an interview with Channel 24.
"We burned two tanks (Russian Marines units, - ed.), several APCs and 'hit' lots of occupants, after which they were forced to retreat to several settlements back," Zhorin said.
According to him, it is about one of the units that "escaped" from Kyiv region, but it was thrown back into the territory of Ukraine already in a different direction.
"And it just happened that we met them again," Zhorin added.
