Switzerland Joins EU Sanctions Against Russia And Belarus

The sanctions come into force from today.

Switzerland has supported EU sanctions against 100 individuals and legal entities from Russia and Belarus, Euroradio reports with reference to Reuters. This is the sixth package of sanctions adopted a week and a half ago.

It included, among other things, the Russian military responsible for the massacre in Bucha.

From the Belarusian side, as reported, the head of the Central Election Commission Ihar Karpenka, the sons of the oligarch Aliaksei Aleksin Vital and Dzmitry, the owner of the Dana holding Bogolyub Karič, propagandists Andrei Sych, Ihar Tur, Lyudmila Hladkaya, and Ryhor Azaronak were sanctioned.

The sanctions should come into effect from today.
