It is not by chance that the head of Chechnya has "disappeared" from the media scene.
Russian opposition figure Garry Kasparov told UNIAN what Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov is doing at the moment and why he has disappeared from the information field. The famous grandmaster was the first to comment on the strengthening of Moscow's air defenses, joking that no one knows whose drones have reached Samara - which is farther away than the Russian capital from Ukraine. Garry Kasparov's conclusion is simple: the Russian authorities are afraid and "do not feel safe".
The famous chess player then revealed Kadyrov's plans. Garry Kasparov voiced his opinion about what the head of Chechnya might be preparing for now: "The situation is more complicated, because Kadyrov may well be preparing for the break-up of Russia He might be having such a conversation, there's already an uproar among his people, precisely because he's not an idiot, not an academic, although Kadyrov is technically an academic. At this level they understand that events may follow any scenario".
"The main problem that's beginning to worry Kadyrov and the other regional 'barons' is that they're running out of money. So far there's still enough of it, but more and more of it is being spent on the war, and they can count there too. Judging by recent events, the same Ramstein, although we are not completely satisfied with the results, the amount of aid to Ukraine is increasing. It is clear that Russia is doomed to military exhaustion," the famous chess player summed up his thoughts.
