Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was re-elected as the president of Hungary's ruling Fidesz party on Saturday, November 18.
The Hungarian broadcaster Hirado.hu reported.
According to the report, delegates in Budapest cast 1,190 votes for Orban.
Orban was president of the Fidesz political party from 1993 to 2000 and all the time since 2003. He was last re-elected in November 2021.
Delegates at the congress also voted for Orban's four deputies.
As Nepszava added, the voting result was not unexpected, since Orban was the only candidate.
