At least two passengers were taken off a regular bus returning to the country.
Two passengers were removed from the bus from the EU to Belarus. The Viasna Human Rights Center reported on December 5.
Human rights activists note that there are still cases of detention at the border of targetting Belarusians who are returning to their homeland. As the Viasna learned, the security services recently got interested in some of the passengers on a regular bus that was travelling from the European Union to Belarus.
“Some of the passengers - Ukrainians - were interrogated and allowed into the country, and at least two Belarusians were taken off the bus after questioning. Their further fate is unknown,” human rights activists said.
