Powerful explosions were heard overnight in temporarily occupied Crimea. In particular, explosions were heard in Saki and Yevpatoria.
At night, the residents of Yevpatoria woke up because of the explosions. People's windows were shaking, and the water disappeared in some districts. This was reported by Channel 24.
First information about the first explosions in Crimea appeared around 1 a.m. on March 1. At that time, the "explosion" was reported near the village of Mezhvodne.
Subsequently, at about 1:25 a.m., an explosion was heard in Yevpatoria. Half an hour later another explosion was heard in the city.
There was quite an "alarm" in the city. Local residents woke up to a loud "bang" and do not understand what is happening. The water disappeared on Victory Avenue in the city. Many people's houses were shaking from the explosions.
The residents of the town of Saki also reported strong explosions. Note that Saki is not far from Yevpatoria - about 18 kilometres away. Therefore it is not clear whether people heard one series of explosions or a different one.
Note: One of the local pro-Russia public pages posted information about incomprehensible explosions in Crimea and organized a roll call - people were sharing what they had heard and seen. However, the post, along with the chat, was subsequently deleted. Apparently, this truth proved to be of no benefit to Russia.
