Mikhail Korotkov, a 31-year-old Russian, has been tracking Putin's secret train for years. It is this type of transport that he prefers to travel in around the regions of the Russian Federation.
The pictures published in The Washington Post show that Putin has a luxurious armored train without identification numbers and with windows always closed.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Korotkov noticed a sharp increase in the composition of Putin's train. “It is racing like crazy, and all other scheduled trains give way to him,” commented the Russian.
The media also wrote that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Putin began to travel more in Russia by train, and not, for example, by plane, since the railway route is more difficult to calculate.
Secret stations and interconnecting lines have even been built in the places Putin visits most, including Novo-Ogaryovo near Moscow in 2015, Sochi in 2017, and Valdai in 2019.
