General Malomuzh: It’s Critical Point In Hostilities

Ukrainian forces are ready for a new stage of a large-scale offensive.
All the logistics of the Russian occupiers are in the zone of fire of the Ukrainian Defenсe Forces. This creates the necessary prerequisites at the front for large-scale offensive operations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian Army General Mykola Malomuzh, the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, spoke about this in an interview with Glavred.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine know almost all the Russian supply routes. Ukrainian forces are cutting these routes, especially fast and short chains.
“However, other routes, in particular, through Armiansk, are also located in the kill zone and targeted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So, for example, Storm Shadow missiles or powerful French systems allow us to hit at a distance of 300 km or more. In fact, today all the logistics of the enemy, any redirections are pointless since the area is in our kill zone. Thus, alternative routes can be hit by HIMARS systems with 80 km munitions, and M270. We strike on more distant targets with longer-range missiles, and closer targets, in particular, logistics centres, with more massive missile systems, actually, we have much more short-distance munitions, as well as ammunition for them. Therefore, we can constantly destroy these enemy supply chains or keep them under fire control,” the general said.
Gen. Malomuzh noted that a turning point has come when the Armed Forces of Ukraine not only dictate the position on the battlefield but also control the enemy’s logistics, its ammunition depots, oil depots and resources that are moving to support the Russian troops located in the Kherson region and Zaporizhzhia.
“From now on, this logistics will be broken. This means that we will be able to operate much more efficiently at the front because the enemy will not receive the necessary resources to strike at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as for effective defence. This creates opportunities for our large-scale offensive operations at the front,” the general said.
