Mass Evacuation Underway In Government Complex In Moscow

A swarm of UAV is flying towards the capital of the Russian Federation.

In the afternoon of August 18, several unidentified drones were spotted in Serpukhov, about 100 kilometers south of Moscow, flying in the direction of the Russian capital. Videos and messages about drones in the sky are published in local public pages on VKontakte, liga.net reports.

OSINT enthusiasts have not yet tied the video to the location, so it is impossible to say for sure that it was filmed in Serpukhov. The frame shows lampposts and other objects, which will make it easy to geo locate place in the video.

Local residents write that it was probably filmed in the area of the Drakino airfield near Serpukhov. Others add that these are supposedly not drones, but light aircraft.

After that, the Russian media reported that a mass evacuation was being carried out in Moscow City “due to reports of the arrival of UAVs”. According to the source, “unidentified people notified the City administration about another drone strike, now they are evacuating Tower A there — 2,000 people have already been taken out of it.”

On the night of August 18, all airports in Moscow were closed due to unknown UAVs, and a drone exploded at Expocentre.
