Drones Powerfully Attack Six Regions Of Russia, Sevastopol

A swarm of UAVs delivered the biggest strike of the war.
Drones have carried out one of the largest attacks on Russian territory since the beginning of the war. Pskov, Bryansk, Orel, Kaluga, Ryazan and Moscow regions were hit by UAVs.
The most powerful strike hit the airport in Pskov, subordinate to the Ministry of Defence, which is 400 kilometres from the border with Ukraine. There is no official information on the exact number of drones involved in the raid. The media reported a raid by a "swarm" of more than 20 drones.
The explosions started at about 23:40 and lasted for about two hours. Air defence was at work, also servicemen of the Russian Defence Ministry tried to shoot the drones down manually, using small arms.
Four Il-76 military transport aircraft were damaged, emergency services told TASS. The 76th Guards Airborne Airborne Assault Division of the Airborne Forces, which is served by these aircraft, is based in Pskov. The cost of one new Il-76 is 5 billion roubles. Servicemen of the 76th division participated in the occupation of Bucha.
The Pskov Gubernia telegram channel reports about a fire in the region of military unit 64044, near the Pskov airport.
Reportedly, this is the territory of the 2nd Special Forces Brigade of the GRU in Promezhitsy, which took part in the attack on Ukraine.
The airport has been closed until at least August 31. The Edelweiss plan was introduced in the town, implying the transfer of law enforcers to a reinforced duty regime with combat weapons. The Defence Ministry did not comment on the attack.
The media also reported a drone attack in Bryansk region.
Baza wrote that one of the drones landed on the Silicon EL plant, Russia's largest microelectronics company, which produces components for Iskanders and Pantsirs, among other things. There was a fire in building 16. Two other drones attempted to attack the Druzhba oil depot.
On the night of August 30, the Russian Defence Ministry reported a drone shot down in Orel region. Governor Andrei Klychkov specified that there were two drones, noting that there were no damages or casualties.
The agency also claimed to have destroyed aircraft-type drones in Kaluga and Ryazan regions. Its one drone was intercepted and crashed over the territory of Ruza district in Moscow Region.
In addition, an explosion was reported in Tula region. Local telegram channels posted videos of the fire. Also the "Cover" plan was introduced in the region - it is announced if "unwanted flying objects" are spotted in the sky.
"Governor" of Sevastopol reported the repelling of a drone attack from the sea in the area of Sevastopol Bay.
Air traffic in Moscow and several regions of Russia has been paralysed.
The massive attack was probably embodied by means of UJ-22 Airborne or "Beaver".
The air vehicles travelled from 700 to 1300 km, depending on the route chosen.
A dozen strikes have been carried out on various objects in different regions of Russia. The strikes continue, somewhere they were shot down, somewhere they got there, the consequences are yet to be known.
