"In November 2023, Ukrainian sniper Vyacheslav Kovalsky set a world sniper record with the 12.7×114 mm HL Lord of the Horizon rifle," the command said.

According to the military, a Ukrainian sniper killed a Russian officer at a distance of 3,800 meters.

"The snipers of the 32nd Separate Mechanized Brigade are especially proud of their teacher. Every day, in the painstaking work of destroying enemies, they improve their art of accurate shooting to be called worthy students of their mentor," the Operational Command North wrote.
