The strike was carried out on the central building.
Israel damaged the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps missile production centre during a recent retaliatory strike on Iran. This was reported by the New York Times, citing an analysis of satellite images.
The Shahroud centre in Semnan province, which was attacked on Saturday, according to the publication, is engaged in the creation of solid-fuel rocket engines used for medium-range ballistic missiles. The strike hit the centre's central building.
In addition, the newspaper writes that, according to preliminary data, three of Iran's four missile facilities were hit, although the extent of the damage is not yet clear. The Israeli strike also targeted air defence systems protecting oil and gas facilities, a major gas field and a port in southern Iran.
