NATO Exercises Begin In Lithuania Near Border With Belarus

On Monday, October 7, large-scale NATO military exercises “Iron Wolf 2024-II” began in Lithuania.
This was reported by the press service of the Lithuanian Armed Forces.
The exercises will last until October 17. More than 3,200 troops and 700 units of military equipment will take part in them.
“During these exercises, we will train servicemen of the NATO Advanced Force Battalion Battle Group and the Lithuanian Grand Duke Algirdas Infantry Battalion to plan and conduct offensive and defensive operations day and night, interacting with each other and combining combat support and supply units,” said Colonel Aurelius Motiejunas, commander of the Iron Wolf Brigade.
