Ukrainian intelligence confirms that the first units of the military from North Korea have arrived in Kursk region. The Kremlin made such a decision while experiencing certain problems.

Roman Svitan, military expert, flight instructor, colonel of the AFU in reserve, said about it in a report for ‘Channel 24’, noting that, given this, the cooperation between Ukraine and South Korea is increasing.

The reserve colonel believes that Putin and the Russian top brass had to act somehow, given the success of the Defence Forces in Kursk region.

‘They made the decision to take such a generally unpopular step - to send North Korean troops,’ Svitan said.

Since the Kremlin has decided to take such action, the military expert said, it shows that Russia has a very bad situation with filling the army.

At the same time, he added, it opened up opportunities for Ukraine to co-operate with South Korea, which has a lot of good weapons.
