Reuters: Biden To Meet With Xi For Last Time

On Saturday, November 16, US President Joe Biden will meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping during his visit to Peru.

This was told to Reuters by unnamed U.S. officials.

As the agency notes, this meeting with Xi is likely to be Biden's last for the presidency.

The two leaders are expected to hold talks on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Peru's capital Lima on a range of global hotspots, including heightened tensions between Washington and Beijing.

Before that, Biden last spoke to Xi by phone in April.

‘The conversations were not easy. That frankness was important in managing the relationship,’ one official said.
