- 15.11.2024, 8:10
Ka-27 helicopters, Su-27 and Su-30 fighter jets and an An-2 plane were at the airbase.
Early in the morning of November 15, drones attacked the Krymsk airfield in Russia's Krasnodar region.
The attack lasted almost two hours, which was reported by local residents on their social media pages.
At the same time, the regional authorities have not yet commented on the situation. Local residents assure that the military airfield, which is located on the outskirts of Krymsk, is under drone attack, reports ‘Dialogue.UA’.
The residents publish video footage on the web and report numerous ‘pops’. Russian Armed Forces managed to shoot down some drones, but some of them, most likely, could have reached the target.
It is known that the Krymsk military airfield is located on the northern outskirts of the town of the same name. The aviation group of the 7th brigade of the Russian Air Force is stationed there. There are Ka-27 helicopters, Su-27 and Su-30 fighters, as well as an An-2 plane at the aerodrome.
The same brigade is subordinate to the Morozovsk military airfield in Rostov region. It was at the Krymsk airfield that an A-50 reconnaissance plane was based in the spring of 2023, which was used to identify air defence systems on Ukrainian territory.
