‘The West Has No Right To Talk About War Fatigue’

Important words from the Estonian Defense Minister.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur criticized talk in the West about fatigue from the war that Russia has unleashed against Ukraine.
ERR quotes the Estonian Minister's statement.
He recalled that 1,000 days will soon pass since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion and Ukraine continues to fight.
Pevkur notes that Ukraine needs support, and the need for air defense remains especially acute.
“We in the West cannot talk about fatigue. How can we be tired if the guys there are fighting for Ukraine, mothers, daughters? We must help Ukraine, and next year it was decided to allocate 0.25% of GDP, which is approximately 100 million euros, for military aid,” the Minister added.
According to him, if Western countries had provided more assistance to Ukraine in the first months, “perhaps the war would have ended long ago.”
“But the reality is that we delayed making decisions,” Pevkur added.
