Explosions occurred in the city where the oil depot is located.
In the city of Lyudinovo in the Kaluga Region (Russian Federation), an explosion was heard this morning, November 16, as a result of an air attack. The Kaluga Oil Product oil depot, which has previously been subjected to drone strikes, is located in this settlement.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to the Telegram channel of the Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha.
The Russian official said that the explosion was on the outskirts of the city of Lyudinovo. He also claims that “there is no serious damage to the infrastructure” and there are no casualties.
According to the Kaluga Governor, allegedly as a result of the UAV explosion, the double-glazed windows in several residential buildings and several cars were damaged.
“An operational group is working on the scene,” the regional government representative added.
The Russian official did not indicate anything about the possible target of the air strike using UAVs, and did not mention the local oil depot in Lyudinovo in the report.
At the same time, we recall that this facility has already been subjected to drone attacks at least twice this spring.
