A Belarusian was expelled for poor performance.
A young man who did not complete his studies at the Border Service Institute owes a not-record, but very impressive amount. Zerkalo learned about this story from the bank of court decisions.
The young man entered the Border Service Institute, but did not graduate, and was expelled for poor performance. He was sent a letter demanding that he pay for his studies, but to no avail.
Then the university went to court. Its representative stated that 81,666 rubles 84 kapeykas were spent from the state budget to educate the cadet. The young man himself did not appear at the hearing.
The court, as expected, satisfied the university's claim. The defendant was ordered to pay 81,666.84 rubles as funds spent on training. In addition, he must pay an official fee to the state in the amount of 4,083.34 rubles.
Let us recall that this amount is not a record, although it came close to it. In 2022, the media wrote about a cadet who was expelled from the Military Academy due to his unwillingness to continue studies. According to the court's decision, he must reimburse the sum spent on his training in the amount of 90,203 rubles. In addition, the former cadet must pay an official fee to the state in the amount of 4,510 rubles.
