The situation is a stalemate for the dictator.
Dictator Lukashenka has found himself in a stalemate. This opinion was expressed on air by the head of the project “Kosht Uradu” Uladzimir Kavalkin on Euroradio.
The economist believes that only the opposition has access to decision-makers in the West.
“What Lukashenka says is generally of no interest to the world elite. This is an absolute stalemate, which does not reach the regime at all.”
Uladzimir Kavalkin says that, according to Lukashenka and the security forces, the Belarusian opposition is some kind of “agents of Western intelligence services” and they will not talk to these people.
“For Western politicians or military generals, the situation looks like this: you (Lukashenka's regime — ed.) are behaving badly, killing people, using terror. And what Lukashenka will change in this regard is unknown. This is the regime's picture of the world.”
