Russian Federation Recognises Passports Of So-Called ‘LPR’, ‘DPR’ As Invalid

  • 19.11.2024, 8:14

From December 1.

Starting next month, the ‘passports’ of the so-called ‘DPR’ and ‘LNR’ will be invalid. Russia wants to carry out maximum passportisation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

This is reported by the Centre for National Resistance (CNR).

‘From December 1, 2024 passports of the pseudo-republics of DPR and LPR, which the occupiers forced the residents of the temporarily occupied Donbass to receive since 2014, will become invalid,’ stated the report.’ reads.

The reason for this is the forced change of citizenship and, accordingly, the change of passports. The Kremlin has set its subordinates the task to perform one hundred per cent passportisation of Ukrainians. That is, so that they get a passport of the Russian Federation.

That is why local collaborators in the so-called ‘republics’ are intensifying the process of replacing passports with Russian ones. They argue that from January 1, 2025, residents of the occupied territories of Ukraine who do not have a Russian passport will lose all rights and opportunities.

‘It has reached the point of intimidation of the most socially unprotected layers of the population caught up in the Russian occupation,’ the information resource added.
