Law Enforcers Storm Tent Camp In Tbilisi

On the night of November 19, the Georgian police on orders from above decided to storm the tent camp of the protesters. Special Forces and water cannons were brought in for this purpose. However, it became known that the law enforcement agencies did not use water cannons, Dialogue.UA reported.

It is known that during the special operation, the police demolished the tent camp on the site of the roadway, where the protesters had set up improvised barricades.

Yesterday, the final results of the parliamentary elections were announced in Tbilisi. On the same day, the Coalition for Change called on activists to join a 24-hour protest outside the university building.

A rally was also held yesterday on Rustaveli Avenue. It was attended by Georgian students from 13 universities of the country who read out a Manifesto on non-recognising the parliamentary elections.
