The German parliament will again consider a proposal to supply Ukraine with Taurus long-range cruise missiles. This was announced by the leader of the faction of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) Christian Dürr, reported Tagesschau on Tuesday, November 19.

It is noted that Dürr told the dpa news agency that his parliamentary group will submit a corresponding proposal for consideration by the Bundestag in the next session week.

He also noted that the U.S. is already moving on the issue of allowing Ukraine to use ATACMS missiles.

‘Now Germany should follow this example and supply Taurus to Ukraine,’ Dürr noted.

FDP leader Christian Lindner also said Germany should follow the U.S.'s example regarding the transfer of missiles.

‘Chancellor [German Chancellor Olaf Scholz] has always warned against single-minded action. Now he finds himself isolated. The US and others are leading the way. Germany should follow them,’ he noted.
