During the ‘elections’ in 2020, a pensioner from Vitsebsk poured water over the collectors of signatures for Lukashenka. Information about this initiative was found in the Unified State Data Bank on offences.
The incident occurred in the evening on May 29. According to the record, included in the Unified State Data Bank, deputy director of Vitsebsk gymnasium № 2 Ihar Kapilets and teacher Uladzimir Tsiatseryn were collecting signatures in favour of Lukashenka's nomination.

After that, Kapilets and Tsiatseryn called the police and reported the incident. Information about the incident was transferred from Vitsebsk to Minsk. A check-up was conducted on this fact. It is not known how it ended.
