Senator Lindsey Graham: The US Will Sanction Any Country Executing ICC Arrest Warrants For Netanyahu And Galant

The politician addressed America's allies first.

In an interview with Fox News, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham promised to impose sanctions on US allies if they begin to execute the arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC), The Insider writes.

“To any ally — Canada, Britain, Germany, France: if you help the ICC, we will impose sanctions on you,” Graham said. He also stressed: “If you as a nation support the arrest warrants against Bibi (Netanyahu) and Galant, I will propose sanctions against you.” He did not disclose their essence, but promised that they would “crush” the economies of the countries against which they are imposed.

Important to note, the ICC announced arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant on November 21, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip. The prosecutor general's request to the ICC also included three Hamas leaders, but all three have already been killed.
