The third separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces cleared the settlement of Kopanky in the Kharkiv region, where Russian troops broke through the day before.

This was reported by the press service of the brigade. They added that during the operation to clear the settlement, Ukrainian defenders also captured a new batch of Russian prisoners. It is noted that we are talking about soldiers from the 1st Tank Army of the Russian Federation.

“During the capture, the enemy covered the area with a 152 caliber, but not at our soldiers, but to eliminate their own. Some of the occupiers are under investigation in the Russian Federation, some have already been convicted,” the press service of the brigade said.

They added that the settlement of Kopanky is now under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In addition, the brigade published a video of the interrogation of prisoners, in which they justify themselves as to why they decided to go to war in Ukraine.
