Protesters Throw Eggs At Georgian Parliament

The opposition is boycotting its work.
Protesters threw eggs at the Georgian parliament during the first session of the legislative body after the elections, the results of which the opponents of the government considered falsified.
This is reported by Interpressnews.
Protesters accompany the session with chanting slogans and honking horns. The building has been pelted with eggs.
A significant police force is present at the site, protesters are not allowed to approach the rear entrance.
During the inauguration session, Shalva Papuashvili was left in the post of speaker. In the 11th convocation of the parliament, one faction was created — the ruling party “Georgian Dream”, with 80 members. It will be headed by Mamuka Mdinaradze.
The Georgian opposition does not recognize the election results and plans to boycott the work of parliament.
