Britain Secretly Hands Over To Ukraine New Batch Of Storm Shadow

The UK has recently handed over to Ukraine a new batch of long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

According to Bloomberg, the delivery took place prior to the British government's decision to lift restrictions for the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the use of these weapons, as well as to a similar decision of the Americans regarding their long-range missiles.

According to the publication's sources, the matter concerns ‘dozens of Storm Shadow cruise missiles’. At the same time, the interlocutors refused to specify when exactly the missiles arrived or to give the exact number, citing security issues.

As noted, the transfer of a new batch of Storm Shadow missiles for Ukraine took place for the first time under the premiership of Britain's Keir Starmer, who has pledged to continue to support Ukraine in its self-defence against Russian military aggression.

‘The deliveries, which have not been publicly announced, took place a few weeks ago and were ordered after Kyiv ran out of long-range missiles,’ the sources said.
