Russia Strikes Ukraine With Record Number Of Drones

On the night of November 26, the Russian military struck Ukraine with 188 drones and four ballistic missiles, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.

‘On the night of November 26, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Voronezh and Kursk regions. During the night attack, the enemy released a record number of Shahed-type strike UAVs and drones of unspecified type,’ the report said.

The aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Army were engaged to repel the attack. The Ukrainian army managed to shoot down 76 drones over 16 regions of the country.

‘95 UAVs were locationally lost, presumably due to active countermeasures of the Defence Forces' electronic warfare, five drones flew towards Belarus. Unfortunately, the critical infrastructure facilities were hit. Preliminarily, there are no casualties,' noted the Air Force.

They added that as a result of the strike, private and apartment buildings were damaged in several regions.
