Drones Massively Attack Tuapse

Numerous explosions were heard near the city of Tuapse (Krasnodar Region, Russian Federation) this night, November 29. Air defence systems are working in the region because of unknown drones.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Russian edition of Astra and Krasnodar Telegram-channels.

Reports about explosions in Tuapse, located on the Black Sea coast in the west of Krasnodar region between Novorossiysk (in the north) and Sochi (in the south), began to appear in the network after two o'clock in the morning.

Later, the public pages said that air defence forces were working in the region because of a ‘massive attack’ by drones.

According to locals in online posts, explosions were heard in Tuapse in different districts, and it was ‘very loud’, in particular, near the beach.

At the same time, a shot taken by an online camera of one of the beaches in Tuapse was made public, showing smoke over the sea, allegedly in the harbour area.

The Governor of the Krasnodar Territory did not report anything about the situation near Tuapse.

Meanwhile, local public pages and Russian media write that at least 20 drones were allegedly destroyed thanks to the work of air defence.

We should add that the network also reports that the target of the UAV attack in this city could have been the Tuapse oil refinery. Local residents report a hit on the territory of the oil refinery in the city of Tuapse.
