Afraid of getting a ‘mini-Pearl Harbour’.
Russian troops go to sea because they are afraid to get Pearl Harbour. This was told by a Captain of the 3rd rank, a representative of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Pletenchuk on air of ‘We-Ukraine’.
According to Pletenchuk, Russian ships risk leaving Novorossiysk port actually for two reasons. One is short-term mass withdrawals for fear of getting a ‘mini-Pearl Harbour’ at the basing point.
‘They can also perform shipboard dispersal drills in case of a training alert and leave the basing point. But these are the only two reasons why they leave Novorossiysk,’ he explained.
