Today, November 30, drones attacked the Russian port in Kaspiysk, which is located in the Republic of Dagestan, 1,000 km from Ukraine. This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko.
“I would like to note that the port in Kaspiysk serves as an important base for the Russian Caspian Flotilla and various military units of the Russian Armed Forces,” he wrote.
Kovalenko noted that the port is located along the routes that Iran uses to supply weapons to Russia.
In addition, pro-Kremlin Telegram channels reported that today, from 08:19 Moscow time, the Makhachkala airport temporarily suspended its operations due to a UAV attack. This information was confirmed by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency. It is noted that the airport has stopped accepting and sending flights.
Also, the head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov spoke about alleged "attempts to attack" UAVs on objects in Kaspiysk.
