Baerbock was asked to clarify Germany's position on Ukraine's accession to NATO against the backdrop of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's statements that an invitation to the Alliance is impossible until the end of the war.
“What is Germany's position? It is clear — Ukraine's future is in both the EU and NATO. We stated this in the NATO declaration in Washington this summer,” the head of the German Foreign Ministry noted.
