Zelensky Makes Changes To NSDC Composition

The former Prosecutor General of Ukraine has been removed from the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has removed Andriy Kostin from the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC). Earlier, he was dismissed from the post of Prosecutor-General of Ukraine.

Charter97.org reports about it with reference to the decree of the head of state.

‘I hereby order to partially amend Article 1 of the Decree of the President of Ukraine from 29 March 2024 № 193/2024 ‘On the composition of the Council of national security and defence of Ukraine’ (as amended by the Decree from 13 September 2024 № 627/2024) to remove A. Kostin from the composition of the Council of national security and defence of Ukraine,‘ the document reads.

The decree comes into force from the day of its publication.
