The consequences are clear, but we should not assume that ‘everything is lost.’

Ukrainian journalist, editor-in-chief of BlackSeaNews Andriy Klymenko assessed the new international situation and gave a forecast for the coming year:

- I have already said recently at several closed discussions, now I will say here: we need to be ready to endure a year without the US and without half of the EU (in terms of support with arms and finances, as well as sanctions decisions).

The consequences are clear, though don't think ‘all is lost’.

It may not happen, but we should always be ready.

And, of course, there is no talk of any capitulation and ‘negotiations’ - these are wet dreams of enemies and ‘international coalition of the frightened’.
