Farewell to Belarusian journalist Vadzim Dounar will be held in Biala Podlaska (Poland) on Saturday at 13:00, reports the Belarusian Association of Journalists.

The address is Zakład Pogrzebowy HADES, Aleja Jana Pawła II, 25.

Belarusian journalist Vadzim Dounar died in Poland on November 5. He was seriously ill and needed a liver transplant.

Vadzim Dounar was born in Minsk in 1976, graduated from the journalism department of the Belarusian State University. He worked in ‘BDG (Belaruskaya Delovaya Gazeta)’, ‘Radio Racyja’, ‘Belorusskaya Gazeta’, on the ATR Ukrainian TV channel and in other media. Lately he lived in Ukraine. In May 2024 he was transported to Poland for medical treatment.
