Due to non-payment of wages.
In the Kemerovo region of the Russian Federation, a strike of workers took place at the Inskaya mine due to non-payment of wages and failure to fulfill promises to pay off debts. About a third of those who signed the notice of the start of the strike gathered at the administrative and household complex of the mine. This was reported by Sibir.Realii, citing relatives of the miners.
Half an hour after the start of the protest, representatives of the enterprise came out to the miners, promised to pay off the debts within two months, and the strikers dispersed, writes the Telegram channel Govorit NeMoskva. This was already the third strike of workers at the Inskaya mine.
Earlier, more than 400 miners at the mine signed notices of upcoming layoffs. They were promised that part of the wage arrears would be paid at the expense of a charitable foundation if they signed documents stating that they were familiar with the plans to reduce the number of employees.
According to Governor Ilya Seredyuk, the regional headquarters decided to pay the dismissed employees three months' wages. In addition, the miners will have their payments for kindergartens and utilities deferred. According to the miners themselves, the debts have not yet been paid.
“They haven't even transferred the alimony that was previously withheld from the salaries of some miners,” sources told Sibir.Realii.
At the end of November, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the director of Inskaya Mine LLC, Denis Nemikin, for non-payment of wages. According to the agency, the total debt exceeds 65 million rubles. During the search, documentation, over 1.9 million rubles and 2 thousand dollars were seized from Nemikin.
