US Announces New $725m Aid Package For Ukraine

Today the United States of America announced another package of military aid to Ukraine. Its size is 725 million dollars.

This is reported by the Pentagon.

According to the Pentagon, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin held a conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov. They discussed the dynamics of hostilities and US security assistance to Ukraine.

Austin also condemned recent missile attacks and drone attacks targeting Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.

During the conversation, Austin provided Umerov with an update on further increases in the assistance the U.S. is providing to Ukraine.

The new package included:

Stinger man-portable air defence systems;

ammunition for HIMARS;

artillery ammunition;

drones;

anti-personnel mines;

Javelin man-portable air defence systems.
