Media: Drone Targets Commander Of Kadyrov Regiment In Grozny

Early Wednesday morning, December 4, an unknown drone attacked Chechnya, striking the building of the special police regiment in the center of Grozny. This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel ASTRA.

It is noted that the attack occurred at about 4:50 am.

According to Baza, the Grozny airport introduced the "Carpet" plan, used during drone strikes, as a result of which one flight to Moscow was delayed.

The opposition organization "Niiso" reported that after the explosion, many ambulances were observed at the site of the strike.

It is possible that the commander of the 2nd regiment Zamid Chalayev was injured, the opposition noted, since wishes for recovery began to be published in messaging services.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov confirmed that the center of Grozny was attacked this morning, blaming the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the attack. Kadyrov added that people were injured in the UAV attack.

"They strike anywhere with a drone. Today, the center of the city [Grozny] was struck with a drone. They destroyed a gas station, the roof of a [police] regiment," Ramzan Kadyrov said during the "direct line" conversation.
