Unrecognized Transnistria Appeals ‘For Help’ To Russia

The separatists asked to "protect" them from Moldova.
"Deputies" of Transnistria occupied by Russia (Pridnestrovie) appealed to the Russian Federation Council and the State Duma with the so-called "request" to launch measures aimed at "protecting Pridnestrovie" in the face of "increased pressure from Moldova."
According to the Moldovan edition of Newsmaker, the corresponding "decision" was made at the congress of local "parliamentary" representatives on Wednesday, February 28.
The members of the "congress" appealed to the Russian Federation for "assistance" due to the "economic blockade". The separatists accuse the Moldovan authorities of organizing it. "The permanent residence of more than 220,000 Russian citizens in the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" is the argument in favour of the necessity of Moscow's response to the appeal, according to the document.
In addition to a statement addressed to Russia, they also appealed to the OSCE, the CIS, the European Parliament, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN Secretary-General António Guterres with an appeal "to influence the Moldovan leadership to return to an efficient dialogue and stop the violation of the rights and freedoms of the inhabitants of Pridnestrovie."
A corresponding document has also appeared, the authenticity of which comes under question.
