Will there be a march on Moscow?

The raid of Russian volunteers continues for the third day in the regions of the Russian Federation bordering Ukraine. The fighting in the Kursk and Belgorod regions continues and, as expected, the shelling of the military facilities of the occupiers will begin today in these regions, so the call for local residents to evacuate urgently remains relevant.

RBC-Ukraine reports in more detail about what is happening in the Belgorod and Kursk regions.

Today, a missile threat has been declared in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. There are reports about the shelling of Belgorod, eyewitnesses publish footage online, where thick smoke is noticeable.

Battle area

As of this morning, fighting was reported near the village of Spodaryushino, Belgorod region. Pro-Kremlin Telegram channel Mash wrote that the so-called hit squads, which the resource calls "Ukrainian", came from the Ukrainian village of Popivka. There was a fight. The Russian army allegedly involved aviation to repel the attack. The so-called Russian milbloggers claim that heavy weapons are used to attack Spodaryushino.

In addition, the battles for Tetkino in the Kursk region continue for the third day. In addition, on the air of the telethon, the volunteer of the Freedom of Russia Legion, Alexei Baranovsky, made an interesting proposal, which, in his opinion, could be put forward to the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. He said that the volunteers are ready to retreat from Tetkino if the Kremlin dictator takes the invaders from the Ukrainian Melitopol.

"They leave Melitopol, and we return Tetkino to them. In my opinion, there will be a very good agreement," Baranovsky said.

According to him, the situation in the border areas of the Russian Federation "is developing very dynamically".

"The fighting in the vicinity of Tetkino continues. That is, the situation in the Kursk region is still tense, and fighting is going on in the Belgorod region. Our special liberation operation has been going on for the third day," adds Baranovsky.

The map of grey areas

An interactive online map of hostilities in Ukraine DeepStateMap, which allows you to monitor changes in the front line and the course of hostilities of the Russian-Ukrainian war, also depicted the so-called grey zones in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. They cover almost 42 sq. km. Namely:

Tetkino (Kursk region) - 11.29 sq. km;

Glotovoe/Kozinka (Belgorod region) - 14.88 sq. km;

Lozovaya Rudka (Belgorod region) - 0.34 sq. km;

Nekhoteevka (Belgorod region) - 1.57 sq. km;

Novaya Tavolzhanka (Belgorod region) - 13.72 sq. km.

The shelling continues

Since the morning, Belgorod and settlements in the region have been under fire. The network publishes footage of a burning car that allegedly came under attack. The RVC, in turn, states that a Russian soldier died in the – Dmitry Alekseevich Golyshkin (military base 31135).

Local authorities reported 4 victims, and the Russian MoD reports that Russian Air Defense allegedly shot down 8 air targets over the Belgorod region. Despite the fact that the locals hear powerful explosions and continue to complain about shelling.

Evacuation

After yesterday's warning, representatives of the Russian Volunteer Corps this morning again called on residents of the Belgorod and Kursk regions to evacuate, as strikes on military facilities of the occupiers are being prepared. In the video, published at 09:14, the military says that "the shelling will begin in 1.5 hours."

"Your leadership has not taken any measures to protect or evacuate you, and the shelling of peaceful cities and villages of Ukraine continues! We are forced to return fire at military facilities in the border regions! Evacuate immediately!” the statement reads.

Will volunteers reach Moscow?

It should be noted that the Freedom of Russia Legion said that they were going to reach Moscow. However, they immediately noticed that this was the goal for several months.

"It is the maximum plan [To reach Moscow - Ed.]. This is obviously not a task for today and probably not even for tomorrow. There is simply the task of liberating Russia from Putin. Do not just "bite" the regime and harm it." “This is an intermediate goal. In the end, of course, the task is to bring down this regime of Vladimir Putin, when we grow to the appropriate number and when a favorable situation develops in Russia," explained today the representative of the Freedom of Russia Legion Baranovsky.

He noted that now Russian volunteers can only carry out limited military operations. But they are also quite painfully reflected in the situation in Russia. And then, the fighters promise that "there will be more."
