The plane was destroyed when it tried to attack Ukrainian positions with guided bombs.
Yesterday, March 1, at about 09:00, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed an enemy Su-34 fighter-bomber in the eastern direction.
According to the Air Forces of Ukraine, the plane tried to strike Ukrainian positions with guided bombs.
This night, the enemy attacked Ukraine with three X-59/X-35 guided aircraft missiles from the occupied part of the Kherson and Donetsk regions and 17 “shaheds” from Primorsko-Akhtarsk of the Russian Federation and Balakleya of the occupied Crimea.
“Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been involved in repelling the air attack. As a result of combat work, our air defense destroyed 14 “shaheds” within the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Unfortunately, as a result of hits and falling debris in the Odesa and Kharkiv regions, there are dead and injured. Condolences to families and friends,” the department wrote.

As the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported, in February the Air Forces of Ukraine shot down 13 Russian aircraft — ten enemy Su-34 fighter-bombers, two Su-35 fighters and one A-50 long-range radar detection and control aircraft.
