The journalists have also noted that some of Putin's “valued choppers” are kept at Dzhankoy along with Russian S-300 and S-400 missile systems.
On the night of April 17, several loud explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea near Dzhankoy. Local Telegram channels reported a large fire near a military airfield. Related videos also appeared online.
According to the Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) online fire map, created based on NASA satellite data, large-scale fires occurred at six points on the territory of the airfield in Dzhankoy.
The previous massive attack on the airfield in Dzhankoy occurred on the night of November 24 last year. According to representatives of the occupation administration, the facility was hit by drones.
