Large-Scale Attack: Drones Hit Three Airfields At Once In Russian Federation

(Updated) Dozens of strikes have been carried out.
Explosions took place in Russia on the night of April 5. Drones attacked a military airfield in Rostov region. Explosions were also heard in Engels in Saratov region and Yeisk (Krasnodar region), writes Glavred.
The air defence units repelled a massive drone attack in Morozovsk district of Rostov region.
Eyewitnesses reported numerous drones and counted more than 60 explosions.
Explosions were also heard in Engels in the Saratov region around five in the morning. As local Telegram channels write, first there was an explosion, after the siren went off.
It should be noted that there is an "Engels-2" airbase of the Russian Armed Forces in Engels. The airbase was previously home to the 121st Guards Sevastopol and 184th Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiments with Tu-160 and Tu-95MS strategic bombers, respectively. Both air regiments were part of the 22nd Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Donbass Red Banner Division.
Later it became known that Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian airfield in Yeisk (Krasnodar region). Ten explosions were reported.
Yeisk is a major airfield of joint stationing of the Navy, Air Force and the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia (Rosaviatsia). The 859th Centre for Combat Application and Retraining of Naval Aviation Flight Personnel of the Russian Navy and the 190th Training Mixed Aviation Regiment of the Navy are based here.
