The water level has reached a critical point.
The water level in Russia's Orenburg has exceeded a dangerous level. The city's mayor Sergei Salmin urged Russians to leave the city.
"The water can come at night, you are putting your life, the lives of your loved ones in danger! Absolutely everyone who is in the flood zone needs to leave their homes. Do not postpone evacuation! The situation will only get worse in the next two days. The water level, according to the forecasts of experts, will exceed the dangerous one. Do not wait for this! Leave right now," he wrote.
We remind you, on Friday, April 5, because of the sharp melting of snow and rising water levels in the Ural River, the dam in the Iriklinskoye reservoir in Orenburg region was destroyed, evacuation began.
As the Orenburg City Hall reported this morning, 1,535 houses and 2,015 household plots were flooded in the city.
